Meet our Maker EJ, She is the founder of Hurricane Woodwork, LLC. She provides her clients with full service woodwork design using ethically and sustainably sourced wood. She works predominantly with reclaimed wood. “What others might consider ‘waste,’ I use as raw materials for the furniture I create.” with most of the wood being locally sourced.

Her products have been featured in restaurants and store fronts throughout Philadelphia and in homes around the world, as well as in a documentary featuring queer makers and in local newspapers.

She designs and hand crafts each order to the client’s individual specifications working with both commercial and residential clientele. She enjoys working with interior designers, restaurants and architects, as well as the general public to create one-of-a-kind pieces for every space.
